SKM Educational and Charitable Trust

Pursuing a medical degree opens doors to saving lives and building healthy communities. However, the cost of medical education can be prohibitive for many bright and dedicated students. This is where SKM Educational and Charitable Trust steps in.

Established in Kochi in 2024, our non-profit organization provides scholarships for MBBS students in South India especially Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka. and South India who demonstrate academic excellence but lack financial resources. We believe talent and merit know no economic boundaries. With our educational scholarships in South India especially Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka, we empower deserving students to achieve their dreams of becoming doctors regardless of their background.
Our application process is transparent and streamlined so students can focus on their academics rather than worry about finances. We offer two types of scholarships for professional medical courses in South India especially Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka:

Need-based scholarships covering up to 100% of tuition fees and living expenses

Meritorious scholarships covering 50% of tuition fees

In addition, we provide application mentoring, academic support, and career guidance to our scholars. Our vision is to nurture a community of highly qualified and socially conscious doctors who give back through their service.

As a non-profit fueled by donations, we appeal to individuals and organizations to contribute towards medical courses scholarships. With more funding, we can sponsor more students to meet the growing need for affordable healthcare both in India and abroad.
